My ex-boyfriend emotionally abused me. He would cheat on me, insult me and talk down to me. He never saw anything good in me. All he wanted was for me to be subjected to him. I’m so glad the relationship ended.
I started an NGO when I was a 300 level Law student in LASU. It wasn’t easy. For a long time, I knew I was meant to start one, but I was so reluctant because I didn’t know where to start from or what to do as a student.
It was one of my mentors who called to encourage me to start and God has been so awesome. When I met with the Vice Chancellor of my school to tell him about my NGO, he accepted it, and I can say that I’m the only student who has organised a big program in my school on sexual abuse, with the backing of the school authorities.
